Palimpsest is correct Flay!
You have forgotten the jazz composer I think - the great Lennie Tristano (again!) wrote a piece called Palimpsest -
George Benjamin & Simeon ten Holt are the other two.

Edit: Ah, sorry - I see you found and American Composer with Crane Palimpsest - well done, but I did say jazz, it was Tristano I was thinking of.
Oh and a thank you to Ferney for Persistance that's a very good group - unfortunately I have a rather good memory, you'll have to wait a while before you can use it!

Hmm. She thinks I am getting too comfortable. I have retired a little early but I just had to get out. The plan is to do some locums. I planned to leave it a few days, then a week or two, but now...
