Ah! Time travels in that direction in the hedgehog universe?

    T - time here:

3/12: Hey, Jude; Yesterday; Over the Rainbow. Which T is responsible?

As Toru Takemitsu might say "from me flows what you call time".....

Is Takemitsu the answer btw? He did do arrangements of all those titles, 3:12 a quarter - quarter tones? I think he did use them in a piece or two.

So much for double bluff, because:

        Yes, he is!

Nothing to do with microtones; a much more mundane answer if you find the work in which those arrangements appear.

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.

The 4th mvt of a clarinet concerto by a Fin, a toccata by a Brazilian and just a memory from the tropics for a Puerto Rican - what is the U?

              - lovely little arrangements, but don't tell R3, or they'll be broadcast four times a week every week for the next seven years!

              Ah; you've noticed that, too?

Do you mean Finn (as in Finnish) or Fin?

So, ten minutes checking the movements of Zappa's Yellow Shark wasted then!

Well I've also drawn a blank going through Finnish composers in Groves and cross-correlating with the Presto Classical database. Could be some obscure musical term that you'll only come across if you have the score ! Umlaut...there you go ...

Well, Kaija Saariaho's Clarinet Concerto is based on tapestries depicting The Lady and the Unicorn - but it's in six movements, and there's nothing particularly unicorny about the Fourth (subtitled "Taste" - a very upmarket beefburger??)

Gosh; wasn't Villa-Lobos fond of writing Toccatas!

Various movements in his works are called "Toccata": The Little Train of the Wotsits is a Toccata (from the Bachianas Brazilicchas No3) - and there's a lot more!

And it's not going to be V-L, is it?!
