No it's definitely mercia and as his favourite Walker Brothers would say - "Make it Easy on Yourself"!

                  No barging at all!

No, I was being flippant. Carry on (I am offline now for a while) by the time I get back it will be probably solved.

Great "S" question, rubbers, and most adept solutions. Just had a coffee and am returning to mental normality, so will attempt to tackle the mercian "T"

(En passant, is anyone else vaguely excited, as I am, by the return of the Formula 1 season? Yes it's a commercialised circus compared with former glories but I can't shake off an adolescent enthusiasm for high-speed on-the-limit racing of high-tech shiny machines... )
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

'fraid Formula 1's not my thing. Who's the favoured driver at the moment? I don't even know who won last season's!!

                            translate 'fine arts' into French
