          Well! Probably you all know this but Oberon (English) Alberon (French) and Alberich (German ) are one and the same mythical figure.

          That's about all I can contribute, I feel the answer to this is another of those "obvious when you find out"

          Edit: Mercia having simultaneously the "obvious it will be obvious" thought!
