    You've got them both, hodge

Anna got the breakthrough & the dodgy petrol rationing and we'd all love an Anna special, if that's ok with you hodge?

I agree!!! Good knowledge, but I fear that AA's will'o'the'wisp has absented herself... I long for an Anna puzzle!

Great deduction and great question! A spiny J would be well-deserved should we indeed have lost Anna to the candied lemons and the hispi...

Over twenty-four hours and a big bowl of nada...

Anna being evidently otherwise engaged, maybe it's time for hedgehog to uncurl herself and produce a J?

Meantime, a small bonus Z linking a diminutive Don Juan, Cleopatra and the Oracle at Delphi...

                    She didn't argue.
                    She showed no false modesty.

To be fair, it's not her turn on the rota to be stationery monitor

                          Calm down dear!

Yes it should be J but we are awaiting one from Anna or hedgehog. Rather than poach, I thought I would chuck in a random, oft-shunned letter for the entertainment of the troops.
