Well, only because I mentioned Threni on Bbn's "Easter Music" thread earlier today, and it occured to me that, as it's the only work by Stravinsky that includes an organ part, "organic Stravinsky" might be useful in a future AA.

Quite right! The only thing missing would be the snow link: the familiar setting of the carol / hymn "See, amid the winter's snow..." was written by Sir John Goss. It's a Christmas tune I rather like, actually. Apart from that, I agree with you taste-wise.
