          Awww

I think the leap entirely the right course, no? As I threw things into confusion by setting a inopportune V.

EDIT: I see we're back to V anyway

Looking forward to a good solid re-start on A

            My fault, again.

Nice Scelsi gag (something, one feels, you'd worked up some time ago, and have been awaiting the opportunity to use... )

Not quite: I had toyed with I don't want to go to Scelsi, but it seemed even more contrived, and I don't know if there are any other fellow enthusiasts of Mr MacManus ...

Blimey, you're taking me down some dark alleys this arvo, ferns...

The original R White's lemonade ad famously featured Elvis Costello’s father Ross MacManus singing a jingle and ran for nearly nine years

Did you quote a Costello song title? [EDIT: cross posted] ... I had to run from that alley screaming

                      Meanwhile back on AA Boulevard:

The penguin dance makes me think of Dick Van Dyke in the flllum of "Mary Poppins".... any relevance???

Not totally irrelevant, in that a dancing American film actor is relevant. But abandon "Jolly 'ollydays"!

Please can someone get the poor old soul a double espresso and something absorbent to sit on? - I think we are mid-crisis here

Is the Chicago hit from the city in the state of Illinois or from the eponymous musical?

(It's from one of the most enjoyable things on facebook, a stream which supplies awesome photographs - as well as a selection of "aaaaaahhhhhh" pics - on a regular basis everyday. Some defy belief. There are some amazing hotels and restaurants too - the underwater hotel room in the Middle East, the Cave restaurant in Puglia....
