Surely you can't mean the hit song Rasputin by the popular beat combo known as Boney M?!

**sounds of vints spinning on his chaise-longue**

I am so sorry, but I can!

But did you know that the name for the group was a nickname of the group's creator, the singer-songwriter Frank Farian? He took the pseudonym after watching the Australian detective show Boney (an Australian TV series from 1971 whose title role was Detective Inspector Napoleon Bonaparte).

                              And do you care?

I knew you could. My first thought was Boney M.

Trouble is, it was my last thought too....
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                                Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
