Been trying to think sideways about possible clues inbuilt: "Calling"... clue? "Flog"... whipping rather than selling... ? And an Italian Tristan? Putting "Tristano" into google just gets you hundreds of Italian websites about Wagner Maybe not a male lover - Tristana? Buñuel movie, Spanish... Have any Italians sung the role of Tristan? I can't find one, if so.
