Messiaen - Golden Oriole from Catalogue des Oiseaux (in French: 'loriot'... a tribute to his wife Yvonne Loriod)
James Scott: Oriole Rag (I knew that - used to play it
That's the Frog and the Yank.
A Spanish composer now...
Absolutely brilliant Flay and Caliban! A far better answer than the one I had in mind!
As regards US, I was thinking of a more modern Jazzer, but not so well focussed on Oriole.
For Spain, Yradier will do fine. But I had in mind a Catalan composition, relatively modern.
Anyhow, I don't think we need drag out proceedings unnecessarily, and I would propose we pass the honour for the next letter to our genial host Caliban.

In the autumn of 1918, Parry contracted Spanish flu during the global pandemic and died at Knightscroft, Rustington, West Sussex, aged 70. (Thank you Wiki).
I might not be Quick as I have to re-assemble the carpet cleaner, I think it needs a new water pump.

Quite correct in each respect
Please proceed when the domestic manacles are returned to The Cupboard!

It appears Mistress Flay is a Hard Task Master! (I do believe I've muddled me genders! Not for the first time, I must admit!) I've just realised the new PG Wodehouse is on so ridiculously early that I shall miiss it so might as well faff about here, as is my wont, for a bit.

You missed nothing, I switched off - it's embarrassingly bad.

Oh. Well you know full well that I am not a Wodehouse fan, but was this casting bad or the adaptation or has it, hate to use the expression, been dumbed down for cheap laughs?
