looks like this one is in the difficult class.

The easiest way in, in my view, is the French word for the animal in question!

I've got enough trouble trying to decipher the puzzle (it's fun! don't get me wrong, Oddball!) without having to decrypt your clues as well, cloughs It's Saturday afternoon, too - my brain's in a bag on the hall table

Racking the remains of my brains... Don't think its Oiseau... No Russian for 'Oiseau de Feu'...

Frenchman could of course be 'Ma Mère l'Oye' ... but can't think of any other goose-related pieces...

Damn it! I was thinking Oriole this afternoon, and not getting anywhere...

Messiaen - Golden Oriole from Catalogue des Oiseaux (in French: 'loriot'... a tribute to his wife Yvonne Loriod)
James Scott: Oriole Rag (I knew that - used to play it

That's the Frog and the Yank.

                              A Spanish composer now...
