EDIT: I think it might be - young Telemann had severe problems (adultery, massive gambling debts) with his second wife Maria. And at some stage he had to flee from Swedish troops. But favourite son of Qandahar???

I've tried to find a work by T concerning Alexander the Great, who while not exactly a son of Kandahar, is reasonably suspected of founding the city. The name may be a shortening of Iskanda(ha)r, a version of his name. But I can't find any such work in the Telemann worklists I can access

U is a tricky one: needed the BIG music dictionary (20 vols!) for thik'un.

Find me a composer U to connect Agostini, Arrigoni and yet another Maria, this one rather stonier than the last.

A surname - didn't want to make it tooooooooo difficult. So all you need is a big music dictionary, high-order Googling skills and the patience of a saint
