... I get mine from Lea & Sandeman in Chiswick. Isn't there a Lea & Sandeman near Notting Hill Gate?

I can only get 1 or 3 letters, pastore as in Mozart or pastorela (shepherdess) which is no good at all.

Is it? What about Pastor Pastorum then? Faithful Shepherd feed me. That could be a possibility if it's a hymn. But, then, how does SpecSavers come into it?

I'm sure it isn't. Flay was flying off at a tangent as is his habit.

But I like your suggestion. The tune is by Friedrich Silcher who wrote "Lorelei" which is a rocky outcrop on the Rhine, "also the name of a feminine water spirit, similar to mermaids or Rhine maidens." How we go round in circles on AA!

Flay, we are looking for: Farm workers at the opticians' ? How very strange! You'll see a gold one if you get this
I don't think we are anywhere near even if the Lorelei had tresses of gold and were very strange, and anyway Cali has obviously sloped off for a quick Chartreuse tasting ... I'm off now as well. Good luck!

                    And in the plural?

And what do you get a gold one of if you get something right?

And what is very strange? A puzzle... a conundrum... a...?

The P you're after is the surname of a composer.
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

There is a distinct, nay literal link with the N yesterday....
