Indeed, PMs have been exchanged but sadly only about recipes I am now the proud possessor of an exclusive Cali receipt for pasta, smoked salmon and basil which will grace my table on Christmas Eve whilst the very same dish will be served at Chateau Calabrese at exactly the same time. So, that's rather romantic is it not?
There has also been talk of ballotines and savoury foam...
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Indeed - but it was all talk wasn't it?
Edit: as I only switched on 5 mins ago, have we solved Flay's to our mutual satisfaction or do I reach for the Dr. J. Collis Browne again? Do we have a new puzzle or have I missed something.

Reason: enquiry
Anyway - that's the end of this episode of Association Street (cue lugubrious brass band music)... this isn't any way to make a sailor a new pair of trousers (as my grandmother used to opine, puzzlingly)
Where are we? Ah yes - High: Delius, Denver; and Pizzetti ("alti")... and an I to come from ferns?

... I was thinking it might be time to ask for some coleslaw.
For the H: "High":
Fred Delius: Song of the High Hills;
Ildebrando Pizzetti: Canti della stagione alta /Songs of the High Season;
Henry John Deutschendorf, Jr.: Rocky Mountain High.
But I suspect I will also have to proffer a time-honoured harrumph - who is this popular teen beat combo??
D'you know, I thought of you when I typed out the clue: "He's not going to like this!" I thought.

Problem is, Ferney, folks here are too busy writing cards, getting involved with tinsel and glitter balls and boiling turkey gizzards for stock to be interested in your very interesting puzzle!

John Denver would have done but I suppose it is Sunday!

Yes; me,too. No rush - but I'm out tomorrow until late afternoon/early evening, so sometime today would be useful!
