Are the clues from the composer's works or from his/her life?

They are his works. If I had put the exact names of the pieces then it would have been instantly Googlable.

Drat, I missed Masterchef. I saw some last night - it was incredibly exacting (although the food was far too faffy for my liking).

Not Grainger. But the name is somewhat odd

I found the prissy o.t.t. food preparation and the customers almost impossible to watch last night...

This is our most desperate hour. Help me, Obi-Wan Mercobi. You're my only hope...

Perhaps, but not the answer. I do like his Petite Symphonie.

                    What was #28766 all about?

OK, a confession. The composer's surname does not begin with G. But then again it does...

You're not making life any easier!!

I was about to post Grieg. The 'Lyric Pieces' have titles which could fit. You said the name was like Anna - starting and ending with the same letter?

or is it an out and out palindrome?

So it's got a G in it somewhere and there's a palindrome somewhere.

A very good final - I've dipped in and out of this series but I really like M Roux Jr - his advice and encouragement is great and just the right balance of carrot and stick.

Couldn't agree more, Roux Jr has turned into a TV topbloke. Those eyes, great dark holes - flashing disapproval ("It's not right") or approval ("It's delicious")

Are we talking about a nom de plume? Like Heseltine/Warlock - but not him, obviously?
