No noon but Janice and Tim and a cosmopolitan Maurice.

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

haven't linked a Janice and Tim together (except in some '70s group called The Archers)
Have been pondering as far as time permits... and on Edward rather than Franz... and "No noon"... Does that mean the same as "not noon" I wonder... so maybe Midnight? Um Mitternacht - Edward Mörike, not as set by Franz Schubert - but the poem itself..
That's as far as I've got..."...the isle is full of noises,

Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
