I thought there wouldn't be many compositions featuring the word Monkey in the title - how wrong I was! The only other connection I'm getting is to an author, a monkey, and a brand of womens handbags .... Is the talkative referring to part of the composer's name as suggested above?

A bag of monkeys can apparently be used to describe a very cheeky person. I'm lost too. Mr Muse has us musing.
          Pacta sunt servanda !!!

Koechlin comes to mind but I don't really know why.

has a word, beginning with K, been deliberately omitted from that sentence, I wonder

been racking my brains for a synonym for talkative that is the name of a composer

should 'talkative' be translated into another language, I wonder

Nothing deliberate - just fingers working faster than brain (or vice versa). No other language (except perhaps Liverpudlian) required.

It's more a question of geography - although John Lennon seems to have usurped this particular word.
