I would propose to perform a classic "Mercia's Excuse-Me" and skip backwards to supply the missing J - whoever gets it will then proceed to L.
Sound ok? I have a J all ready..."...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

However, with each new hire, he sought that "...each new hire should show himself at least twice as good as whom he replaced"Pacta sunt servanda !!!
