                Ian Gibbons of the Kinks
Jack Gibbons made his London debut in 1979 age 17 with an all-Alkan concert that included Alkan's Concerto for solo piano

                But the waterfowl???

Thanks mercia. Cold Comfort Farm was the clue I needed. I've never read it. The 1995 film version mighe be worth a watch.

Now for an H to link Schmitt, Eugene and the back end of a cycle

Easy?!! I find that back end of a cycle refers to the processing of nuclear fuels ...

You only put that in to make us appear even thicker. Eugene - careful with that axe. Schmitt - tragedie. And like Anna I also came up with the nuclear thing - so need to be even more careful with the axe.
