Arrived in Newcastle on the way north. I'm very impressed by the overture made by Caliban

I'm off again so must leave you in his incapable hands.

(would love to hear more about that lift with RR. )
    Pacta sunt servanda !!!

And I have arrived in Bayswater

It was a lift as in elevator, rather than some journey. It was in a building in Nottingham where Radio Nottingham had a studio. We were "Ask the Family" junkies at home, I was rather excited

And... Good afterble, Constanoon, I assure you I am not incapable, jusht a little egg-shausted...
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Are more clues required? This cunning quezzy from the errant Flay has really stumped the company...

(BTW ammy - did you see Celebrity Masterchef today? The three contestants unleashed in the kitchen of the Criterion, scene of your youthful brush with the Reaper... )

              It might.

              Feel like elaborating?

Oh Lord...well, there was a Polish musical setting the story of The Blue Castle to well, er, music.

                Probably a Windsor Castle song

                Bluebeard's Castle?

Only guessing and I have come to this late in the day and everyone else has done all the heavy lifting.

                    That was Ron Goodwin

                    Bluebeard's Castle: check

Windsor Castle Overture: yes but I have an Austrian composer on the card

                    Third element: something older...

Nope... I gave a clue earlier that the pieces concerned were composed by a Hungarian (you have that one), and Austrian (the Windsor Castle connection) and a Russian....

Can I go and find a quiet dark corner to lie down in, please?
