Apologies for a late return - a celebratory birthday lunch for a chum and I did a jlw and lit into the prosecco

I'm amazed that no-one's had a nibble - or are you all keen not to do the next letter?

Oh I see that I was right - both mercs & cloughie cycling around it

Yay cloughie takes us a stage further with George Malcolm with Alex Templeton's Mr Bach goes to Town

But which Malcolm do I seek in relation to a cobbler - is there much choice?

Oh, I was just to say Malcolm McLaren The Flower Duet. Which was a BA ad I think. Oh, cobblers! Wrong, again ......... Nighty-Nighty

Much choice? - what shall we call it if there's no choice at all

As when Henry Ford was said to have sold the Ford Model T with the famous choice of "any color... so long as it is black" - who's choice is that? And what Malcolm wrote the music for film that David Lean made, of the the same name?

Maybe that was on the card but only a pedant could deny Anna's or my response.

The Malcolm in question is Malcolm Arnold who wrote the film score for David Lean's film entitled Hobson's Choice about a cobbler and his employer's daughter.

I think the score is mercs 1 cloughie 1 - I'll leave you to decide who gets to set the N

mercs got the generic Malcolm, so the N is rightly his, also I shall have chunks of Thursday unavailable for ressponding.
