No mercs, just that he works in Spain and is highly regarded.

He's of British but not English, origin

That's because it IS a harp, norths - bravo!

So we're looking for a harpist, a British non-English native, whose first name begins with I

Well, John Roberts was a famous Welsh-born harpist, so I suppose the Welsh version of his forename could begin with 'I'.

Ah now it gets complicated. John Roberts is the English name of I number 1 who was not a harpist; the second I, Esplenderoso, is the harpist.

Think John Roberts, think development of tonic sol-fa in his home country. And in what part of UK is it traditional for cultural exponents to have a second name for cultural events?

                      Excellent work, mercs :Star:

So the I is Ieuan - for John Roberts it's a forename; for the drummer it's a family name

Apologies for my finger slip, mercs
