    Simon? Simon Cowell??
    Pacta sunt servanda !!!

      Yes, that Simon. 'U' is reportedly a great favourite of his, but not necessarily in the two versions referred to here.
      The punctuation of the question is correct.

          Definitely not! It's just that Simon Cowell's name name cropped up when I was compiling the question. He very probably has views on the performances of this reported favourite of his by the trio and the duo who also feature in the question.

                    Coleslaw:

                    Unchained Melody:

                    a favourite of Simon Cowell;
                    recorded by the Goons (Harry, Spike and Peter all of blessed memory;
                    and by Robson and Jerome (who played the characters Tucker and Garvey in the 90s TV series Soldier, Soldier.)

                    ... and there was I, thinking I didn't have a Ghost of a chance!

                        It's a lovely tune; also covered by Jimmy Young in the days before Raimondo kept asking him for recipes. (On his final programme before the Beeb "retired" him, his producer sneaked the recording in as a last item.)

                        This is probably a "repeat", but ...

                        A V connecting Death, Games and a Three-cornered Hat.

                          And nobody's mention Bobby Hatfield and Bill Medley's version!

                              Not that I know of: but there is a connection with Diaghilev.
