Says that to all the boys...
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I rather like cloughie in maroon, it matches his avatar We had Peter and Paul not long ago didn't we so I guess we're not with the Saints again? And, did I recall some time ago Caliban confessed to being a fan of Vampire Weekend?

Not twigged the significance of Vampire Weekend - means nothing to me!

Not saints. One M. Two clues classical, one non-classical.

My only suggestion would be Bob Dylan's Dream by Peter, Paul & Mary. I'm not going to go through the other 430,000,000 Google connections to Peter Paul and Robert, Oxford comma or not... (I had never heard of the OC until now. Good old AA)

Is that in the same order as the names?

The title of the song struck me as a possible riposte to vindepays: namely (it manages to be simultaneouly erudite and vulgar, a mixture perhaps characteristic of some of us.... ) "Who gives a **** about an Oxford comma"

As Eric Morecambe would say not necessarily, 1 and 3 classical. Their surnames should lead you there.

Speak for yourself Duckie - I am never erudite and vulgar simultaneously although I may be the party of the first part or the party of the second part singularly!! I'm surprised Flay hasn't heard of the Oxford Comma, we had quite a discussion about it in relation to Eats Shoots and Leaves on the literature thread. However, I am no further forward with cloughie's conumdrum
