      I've solved the Scott bit haven't I ?
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Walter Scott of Allardice (d.1198) used a perambulator, and consequently was a perambulator:

<<Richard de Fréville has given, granted and by this his charter established, to Arbroath Abbey, in free and perpetual alms, that land in Mondynes (KCD) near the Water of Bervie for a half ploughgate of land by its right bounds, as he himself and John of Hastings and Walter Scott (of Allardice) perambulated with the abbot of Arbroath and many others, for the souls of King David and King Mael Coluim, and others, and for the welfare of King William and of himself, with common pasture, free and quit from all cavalry service and army service and all other secular exaction and all works.>>

        A perambulator:

        Now where's my dummy?
        Pacta sunt servanda !!!

Scott Walker had a hit called 'Joanna'. I do hope we're not back - again - with the slightly differently spelt Joann who's recently become Principal Conductor of the Ulster Orchestra.

                        oh well done, Northender

Joanna McGregor presumably being the Peter Rabbit garden-owner connection
                        except it's spelt MacGregor

                            Joann(e) , Joann(a) between you you've got it.

As we've had things before with translations included what's the odd a or e between friends - the other 5 letters are the same! Or is there something in the rules which says I've got to think up another J.

He was maybe inspired by hearing Arrau on the Joanna.
