I'm afraid that I am in the opposing camp! Just sampled some of their tracks on iTunes...I found them barbershop saccharine sweet for my taste.

I should perhaps have mentioned that 'B' is a person.

          'Fraid not. To help you:
The first element is a bit of a puzzle, the second could also include cousins, uncles and aunts; and the third element shares a title with a work by Turgenev. All scored by B.

Well the third element is A month in the Country.

              Music for films:

              The Riddle of the Sands
              Blood Relatives
              A Month in the Country

Clues to the titles of films scored by Howard Blake: Carruthers and Davies are the main characters in the book by Erskine Childers; examples of blood relatives were offered; and September in Shropshire is an example of a month in the country.
Over to scb for a 'C'.

Dumbledore must be quelling a riot in Hufflepuff
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

scb's chosen avatar shows Prof. Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts Wizards School in the Harry Potter saga. Hufflepuff is one of the four houses at the school.

Merely speculating as to what could be keeping him from setting C

Thankyou, having lived life in a Potter-free zone....

A C to link a West Indian island, a fictional religion, and a deep sea diver.

... this is not the answer, but I have learnt that there is a Cousteau reserve in the Antilles; and there was an apparent hoax that Cousteau converted to Islam because of a Koranic saying of the non-mixing of saline and fresh water...

Golly, but the AA can be educational...

You appear to have found the relevant deep sea diver.
