Giya Kancheli
Ippo-Ivan
Elisso Virsaladze
are the names you were groping for.
All connected with the Tbilisi Conservatoire - I² ran it, the other two were pupils.
I saw Ms Virsalasze play Rach PC#2 at the RFH - scary lady!!
It's all Urs"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments

Do you think it might help if I googled 'Sam'? Hmm...only 17 hits.
[There was an ITV drama series called 'Sam' back in, I think, the late 70s - that's the 1970's of course. It starred Mark McManus - no, not Mick McManus the wrestler - Mark McManus the actor, who went on to star as the original 'Taggart'', but he wasn't in the uniformed branch...Having said that, I seem to recall that he quite often looked 'unhappy.]

The Bell's [sic] of St Mary's is the best-selling whisky in the bar of the supporters' club at Southampton's new(ish) stadium. Sales will probably be further boosted if they manage to retain their Premier League status.
The letter 'U' occurs 7 times in the above.
