Forget straw...it wasn't a very good 'sounds like'....'sounds like' in crossword parlance means a word that is pronounced the same way as another that is spelt differently. For example, weigh and way. Straws (the plural was important) isn't, on reflection, a very good 'sounds like'. Mea culpa.

I've been following silently... I should be able to do this as I do invest in certain US TV series. Haven't got it yet but we're looking for a character, after whom the series is named, in a series now in its 5th season i.e. still being produced and broadcast.

But I can't get it...
