        This is like pulling teeth

Sadly I haven't got time to join in the fun, got people to sue...
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Was it not Fifine at the Fair then? (I now note Mercia tried Fifine #24023)
The only other Bantock fair reference is to him conducting the premier of Delius's Brigg Fair

Yes it is Fifine - thought I'd confirmed that by implication.

I'll do the Anna thing to Finish F.

                  Fair

Granville Bantock's Fifine at the Fair.
                  Gibbs Bee Gees Melody Fair.
Sandy Denny Fairport Convention who also sang She moved through the Fair on 'What we did on our holidays' Farport's first album with Sandy as lead singer, the previous one had Judy Dyble.

                  G up Mercia.

could Clive Dunn have figured in the clues?
