To sum up:
Salzburg-born Mozart (W A) consigned Don Giovanni to Hell.
Middlesbrough-born Chris Rea wrote and recorded 'The Road to Hell'
Baltimore-born Frank Zappa released a Video from Hell in 1987.
While researching this question, I found myself reading about the recently relaunched Blues Festival in the Norwegian town of Hell.
The reference to 'infernal' in the G&S song - clearly not as well known as I thought - was meant to help you (honestly!).
Over to Flay, I think.
So, I got no points for posting "Infernal" Which set you all off on the true path of enlightenment? Gosh, I am really looking forward to the Prom tonight, I think it will be wonderful cwtched up with Beethoven.
Next time I set a question, I'll send you a PM with a not-too-cryptic clue (DON'T TELL ANYBODY ELSE!)
Oh yes...'cwtched' ? (My Welsh, she is not so good)

Oh, I was only joking!! Very good puzzle, if obscure, but fun. Cwtched is simply, to cwtch up, to cuddle, to get a bit soppy and affectionate. Like, give a cwtch to your Mam. Or, oh, givvus a cwtch!

Yes, Pinafore as in the G & S opera. It's a reference to (indeed a phrase taken from) a well-known number from that work, which should provide you with an adjective that should then lead you to 'H'. (Information offered with nothing but good intentions).
POINT OF ORDER, GUVNA!!!
The "phrase" I can whistle all the airs from that infernal nonsense "Pinafore" appears in Major General Stanley's patter song in The Pyrex of Penzance, NOTT ... err, I mean ... NOT HMS Pinafore!
(Honestly, the MISTAKES you read on this Thread!)
