My immediate reaction was: Mozart's Grand Partita, and Malcolm Arnold's Grand, Grand Overture for the Hoffnung Festival.

Y'see what a sleepless night angsting over AA does for yer?!

Yes, I did mean Julian - Jonathan Nott's a conductor!

Apologies to all in general and Norths in particular. (The H was his, anyway! )

So, it was not Jonathan Nott but Julian Nott, was it not!
                'H':
While checking out composers born in, respectively, Baltimore, Middlesbrough and Salzburg when devising this question, I found myself reading about a relaunched blues festival. How come?

Not to worry, I know how it is: the stress and worry, the fear and loathing <sigh>

Still, I have learnt a new word from looking that up: deuteragonist i.e. Gromit (Wallace being the protagonist).

                  So all is not lost.

                  Hip Hip Hooray for Northy!

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I'm sorry ... you MUST remove this word immediately, as it contains letters also found in the words Olympics, London, Lord, Seb and Coe. (I MEAN IT!!)

(Thankfully, there was none of that Pinafore nonsense. )
