Well, I'm on the right lines I suppose looking at Poulenc (did he set that Saint-Saens?) but with a very busy evening I don't have the time to go further. Perhaps others can carry on and I'll catch you around 10-ish. By which time you'll be back on A I expect.

Please don't rush off - you are right with Poulenc and Les Animaux Modèles!!!

Les Deux Coqs is one of the elements... Just a leeeeeeeettle more searching needed!

Come along folks! Assuming Anna's had to leave to be about her business, she's kindly left the door wide open for whoever fancies the next one!

Has everyone been overtaken by summer lassitude....?

Since Anna has provided the answer I think we were just being polite and waiting for her to complete the details and claim the honour of setting the next question.

Only just seen this - please don't wait for me, I really don't know the answer except for Poulenc's Animaux, no idea about indecisive lechers or pussycats (although I've known a few of both in my time!) I have no time to think as I'm off to a funeral (Not family member) and won't be around so please carry on without me.

                    Oh! Fair enough Anna

When you have a mo, I for one would like some further particulars of

I think I should put this question out of its misery and then throw the floor open to anyone who would care to Q

It's very easy - just two other movements from Poulenc's 'Les Animaux Modèles'. You got

The Two Roosters (Les deux coqs)

                    There's also:

The amorous Lion (Le lion amoureux)

                    &

The middle aged man and his two mistresses (L'homme entre deux âges et ses deux maîtresses)

So over to whoever is available and willing to set at Q !

2 out of 3 for both attempts. Beethoven (Op. 16), Anton Rubinstein (Op. 55), and Mozart (K.452). All Quintets for Piano and Wind Instruments.
