Anyone care to fill in Brian the Obscure? (In the nicest possible way, of course!)
I think mercia did that upthread. Obscure Records. Liver Salts (as I think they were called, keep you regular)

Has Brian Eno (Obscure Records) been mentioned yet?

I did - I just thought you were, like, acting coy and wanted somebody else to join up the dots!

EDIT: Oh! Eno!! (My granny always had those. We, in contrast, were an Alka-Seltzer family )

Yep: Brian Eno, exponent of Ambient Music (the sort you don't pay VAT on), KOAN and Roxy Music.

Anna, mercs and Northy all contributed, but Anna's heroic side-stepping of my "Dresden" trap was rather special. I hope Northender doesn't take umbrage?

I don't take umbrage - it doesn't agree with me!

I just didn't want to set the next, as I only got one Brian so that wouldn't be fair would it?

Well, Anna made it easy for the rest of us, so I agree that she really should set the next question.
(I do have a 'C' question, which I had hoped to use before BT cut me off from t'internet for 9 days, but I'm quite happy to keep it until a suitable opportunity comes along.)

Apparently the Eno tagline was 'Gets to work in 6 seconds'

What a marvellous puzzle & a great swift working out* by all concerned, especially Anna

AA at its best, I'd say

*my Nain was very keen on a great swift working out, as I've mentioned before - I think she was a Sennakot devotee, mind
