OK, but I wasn't really playing, and I really dunno about a J. But, this, a hasty one and could it be solved toute suite?

        What J links
        Billy Meyerl
Jonathan Harvey (you don't see him around much on AA do you!)
        Keith Jarrett and Charlie Haden
        Frank Zappa

Jasmine? ('White as' in JH's case, 'Sister Jasmine' mentioned in Zappa's 'Mammy Nuns'). Do you mean Billy Mayerl, by the way?

KJ/CH: 2010 album 'Jasmine'. (Off for my supper now, I'll look in again around 7.00 p.m. - by which time I hope to have come up with a 'K').

Oh well done Northender, defeating the conspiracies of BT and BP what's more!

Worth posting here the clip Ammy posted elsewhere, since Mr Mayerl has popped up: I'd never seen him before.... Mesmerising, funny ... but somehow slightly scary...

Billy Mayerl messing around on the keyboard for a little while, followed by a piece of Marigold. He plays it SO FAST.

You're looking for somebody whose name begins with K, yes?
                    Well, here are some clues:
                    (a) Lance Armstrong (for example)
                    (b) A parable
                    (c) A tiny fairy's livelihood.

You're looking for a surname. The person concerned is no longer with us.
The missus and I are about to take our seats for 'Il Tabarro'. Back soon after 9.00!

Are we seeking a conductor, composer, soloist which? or none of these.

The three clues should lead you to three different compositions by Mr K.

                            Is he a classical composer?
