Indeed, and I was earlier wondering about Marie-Therese von Paradis (born in Koln) and Ian Paradis, who (together with JR Wagner) wrote the blockbuster Thermal Periodic Contact of Exhaust Valves in Spark Ignition Air-Cooled Engines: a great favourite at my local Glee Club.
