Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments

It would be if it was correct.

        Lennie OK

Cali's Neil Tennant is the correct one and the Morton is incorrect, but I cannot fault the endeavour and enthusiasm, ferney.

But ferney's West is right, no? - just one of the elements left to get...?

Jelly's West End Blues as mentioned by ferns has to be at least as good as the answer on the card... I can't see any other...

Are you trying to unsettle the setter, Cali. Morton is the forename.
Go West was a good answer but yours was the correct one!

                          Of course!

Morton Gould's West Point Symphony, then

No I wouldn't do that - never believed anyone could call himself Horton Market!

For the last West think Freddie Fennell!

Not in fact written for Fennell's Eastman-Rochester band, but memorably recorded by them

(I've got a little N tucked up my sleeve if anyone's interested )

Cali pulls the Morton out of the marsh, and the pleasure of negotiating with ferney as to who has the dubious honour of the graveyard of the alphabet X Y Z spot.
I don't think I suggested that he wrote i for Fred's band but it is one of many great Mercury Living Presence recordings.
