Regarding the Haffner question: Mozart's Haffner Serenade K250 was written for the Haffner family, more specifically to celebrate the wedding of daughter Marie Elisabeth. There's also a Haffner Symphony by the same composer, of course.

I was about to explain when we were merrily exchanging Haffner puns... then realised I was about to be horribly late for my obsequious duties this afternoon Apologies...

While you were away we started to have some fun after Anna (and I too I think) entered a plea that when a puzzle is solved (especially when the solution may straggle through several posts or even pages), someone - either the setter or the solver - set out in one place the various elements of the answer. It has come to be known as 'Anna's law'
