Sorry Anna, my granny died 50 years ago. I just don't get this. How did mercs get Childe? Is it Wilfred Rowland Childe? The only connected H I can find is Harrow. As for a cattle connection: "Cattle Trough at the Junction of Bessborough Road and West Street, Harrow. Grade: II listed building."
