    Well done, Flay!

The Revueltas is a great piece, hooge orcherstra and they did it at the Proms a few years back. Nice recording on Naxos

Heard the Simon Bolivar youngsters play it with Dudamel in the RFH a couple of years back, terrific - sort of like Latino Rite of Spring...

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

So what would the third be?

I know, a poor clue. It was set in a hurry in the early hours, I was still in the bathroom sneaking it on using the ipad. Mrs Flay was knocking "what are you up to in there, why are you taking so long?" etc. etc. She doesn't approve of the FoR3 MB, thinks it's a distraction and waste of time. As if...

in a musical context ? or more generally? like qui tacet consentire videtur - he who is silent is taken to agree.

a tacit agreement - can it be spelt either way ? is the term tacet only used in percussion music ?

No I should have written tacit for the verbal silence, my error. Musically it is tacet but the derivation is the same.

                                in a musical context ?
Some would say so, many not. It is a single piece, the subject of scorn and mirth
