Have you been sniffing the surgical spirit again Flay?
As to Hymns, I got as far as Dear Father of Mankind (tune by Parry) or Daisies are our Silver, realised I know nothing about AC/DC but was it to do with AC Milan or currents .... and gave up .....

I thought Flay's last message was a suggestion that the D might be Douglas?

Where's cloughie gone? Cali's "Down" sounds pretty good to me!

Afternoon fixture for St Austell Rovers perhaps?

I'm not sure about the "as it is" part...

Don't worry about me. AC is such a vague clue (as is the rest) but it reminded me of an Isaac Asimov story from years ago. Nothing more

Nobody interested for hours - I nip out to Morrison's and there you all are. Not out at a match but pleased to see HT Owls ahead and Blades behind.

You're kidding aren't you?!?! We're all THINKING and SEARCHING! And in my case punching the odd hole in the wall, getting into fights with coat-hangers &c. &c.

That silence that sometimes follows your highly compressed clues: it's not lack of interest, it's a mixture of hope, concentration and desperation...

                            3 Down one to go

I have misled, the missing one is a short orchestral piece, AC is from across the pond.

No but you've got the right composer.
