          When I said "quick", I didn't quite expect ...

Ah well; care to suggest the names of the pieces involved?

Please could I call it a dead heat between Norfy and myself, but Norfy pipped me by being more specific. I couldn't resist answering, but I have to go and fetch the car just now. Can you Rise to the occasion please, Norfy?

                I'm sorry, Flay ...

... but you're correct in all particulars!

Which means you get to do the R!

Perfectly acceptable as far as I'm concerned.

Well ...my recent contributions have been modest at best, but I'll oblige to keep things going. (Dons thinking cap)...

Please name three works that start with 'R' and represent a prime example of a shared opus number.

                        Beethoven "Rasumovsky" String Quartets (Opus 59, Nos 1, 2 & 3) ?

Where did mercia's Rosenkavalier op 59 contribution go? Surely that would fit? And you can buy Adolf Ruthardt's (who?) op.59 , Rhythmische Etuden on ebay just now (I doubt if that was intended in the question)

I deleted it because I think subcontra's answer must be correct on its own
although if I can find a set of 3 Rhapsodies with the same opus that might be correct too I suppose

Sorry if it wasn't clear from the question, but you're looking for three different works by three different composers.
