I have house guests arriving in about 30 mns, so shall be offline until tomorrow...

So all this beating about the bush may lead to a break in the service!

        Any more for any more?

I may be able to get back on late if guests retire at a sensible hour...

I once rescheduled a business meeting so that I could pop along to Père Lachaise to see Jim (Morrison). Frederic (Chopin) is also buried there, of course, as is Francis Poulenc. Might Ivry be Gitlis, Ida be Haendel and 'E' therefore George Enescu?

Oh, have only got back to Wales thanks to First Grest Western and their wonderful trains for transporting me safely, but was thinking Pierre la Chaise Jim, Chopin, etc., that the E was Edith Piaf. Oh well, it's been a long day ...... Thomas Babbington Macaulay wrote a poem called Ivry ... Night, night. I see the puzzle is solved, possibly

An 'F': please to link London, New York, New York again and Heidelberg.
