Stanley K. (ça va sans dire, I thought ...)

There is some evidence on google of words to the tune including the word 'motherland', to do with South Africa.... is that the right direction?
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I thank you (Maybe it still is the WS signature tune?)

However: try this for size. This M sounds identical in all three cases, although in fact each spelling is slightly different in each case: I hope the fact that the M is only phonetically identical will not offend any delicate sensibilities?

Is the Arnold clue musical or literary?
