You can always rely on Caliban for exquisite detail

Perhaps the two of you would like to toss a metaphorical coin or something? Or exchange PMs and come up with a fiendish joint question? You're equally deserving of the honour of setting the next question.

Oh, my goodness, yes - I just filled in the final piece based on a very generous clue. And anyway Taps also got the original "M" solution viz Miller.

Anyway, I'm off out for an hour or two. Go for it Tapiola.

Ahh, Caliban, I have just PM'ed you. Thank you anyway. A straightforward N, I hope:

3 elements to this one, I should add.

And a quick question to all Floydies - Who is the only non-Floyd male ever to sing on a Pink Floyd album?

                Have a cigar, young man!

Yes the brilliantly infuriating and infuriatingly brilliant Roy Harper.

I have no idea how one might unpack your succinct phrase into 3 elements and then distil a musical "N" ...!

I shall cogitate as I drive!

You know what happened last time you tried that...!

I don't know how to unpack T's N either. It's pretty tightly wrapped.

Is the double negative referring to Luigi Nono? (who was at one time leader of the Italian Communist Party) but I don't see where I might be going with this!

Anna, If I were a woman and you were a man I think I'd want your babies. Yes, Nono was a Communist...

...and wrote something called Intoleranza, 1960

                            Yesyes.

Between you, Anna, and rubbernecker you've resolved all elements.

Nono - purveyor of the most beautiful dissonances.

Claiming the majority of the solution, is it Anna's O?

Well, I just knew it was Nono (pub quiz mode again!) but rubbernecker has more knowledge than me with regard to Intoleranza so I'm willing for him to continue with O as I have nothing prepared and today is a Rugby afternoon! (England v Italy just started and then it's Scotland v Wales)
