Interesting programme on this topic this morning ...

"Charlotte Smith looks at the British veal industry. There was a time when many male dairy calves would be shot or exported to veal systems which would be illegal in the UK. But in this country some calves are now being raised for Rosé Veal, which farmers describe as new-era, high welfare meat."

Yes, quite. Considering individual posts fairly - it is a character fault - I have to say that those two big pictures someone posted are splendid. Really cheered me up.

If I want to post pictures from IPhoto, what do I do? I'm a ferret with little brain.

Me too. I'm not sure about IPhoto.

I write something like "cat" in Google search, then left click on the word "Images" to the left of the screen. This gives me pictures of cats on the screen.

I then right click on the coolest cat image. This gives me a box of words - alternative options to pursue. I left click on "copy image URL".

Then I go onto this thread and ensure the cursor is in my message box. In "Edit" I left click on the colourful green and blue square symbol above (third from the end) and then left click on "From URL".

This gives me a long rectangular box entitled "URL" and another small box with a tick in it.

I right click in the rectangular box to place the cursor in the rectangular box. Then I right click again. This puts in words in computer language. I then remove the tick in the other box by left clicking.

My cat picture appears on my message.

A Humpback whale gave these paddle boarders quite a surprise off the Columbian coast....

Re. the previous enquiry about uploading images, I found this recent thread very helpful, because I was also having trouble. I now use Imgur.com, as mentioned on the thread below, which makes it very simple. Once you have registered on the site, if you go to "tools" on the Imgur homepage, you can download add-ons which make uploading pictures very easy.

You've got the gig. Mr Pee's Picture Show to replace The One Show. No dodgy guests though.
