I never used to miss an episode of corrie at one time but I've never seen an episode of eastenders in my life. I never watch any of the soaps nowawdays, there is too much great music to listen to.
I will admit however to being an avid crossroads watcher years ago.

Why wouldn't a Radio 3 listener be married to Deirdre? She stuffs a mean marrow.

(I think they aren't actually married at the moment, mind you. They have been in the past, though).
Have you SEEN her neck veins when she gets stressed out (or caught out)?

And all Radio 3 listeners are repulsed by neck veins? I didn't get that memo. :p

Not that I'm saying Deirdre is my type. But her pottery is at least endearing.

Not sure about that, but I certainly am! Totally with Norfy on this one

Just catching up on the Corrie omni... did I read you right that Robert Vaughn is about to make an appearance?????!!
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
            Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Wasn't me, but yes, I understand that Roy's Mum will bring him back from the cruise she won (by nicking Mad Mary's discarded slogan).
