    well when it comes to Mr Jay's character i wonder how you come to that particular conclusion Mr Pee since by your own admission you do not watch the proceedings ....

        It's not a prosecution, Mr Pee, it's an Inquiry into the role & ethics of the media.

        The most remarkable thing so far for me is how many members of the Murdoch empire suffer from selective amnesia

        I'm sure that Mr Jay is reeling even now at your jibe

              And in the case of Mrs. Brooks, also selective deafness it seems. She constantly waffled and then asked, 'sorry, what was the question?' She seemed in fact to manage to evade answering a lot of the questions whilst portraying a butter wouldn't melt look.

                    Isn't it Jay and Leveson's job to ensure that their questions are answered? I'm sure that if they weren't satisfied they would have pressed her further.

                    And Amateur, I don't know whether you have ever run a multinational media empire- I sincerely hope not - but if you had done, I wonder if you would be able to remember every detail of your activities from several years ago.

                      Messrs Murdoch et al have been tutored & rehearsed to within an inch of sanity for these hearings Mr Pee - nothing has been left to chance.

                      And you might recall that Mr Murdoch senior sets very great store by what people 'remember' in their autobographies.

                      Do you remember what was said about Murdoch senior by Sir Harold Evans? Aside from business there is nothing he likes more than gossip.

                      And Sue Akers of the Met added 'salacious gossip' to that.

                        and are we all following popleveson?

                        Mr Marley, your admission of guilt in the sheriff case is admirable, but can I remind you it's the deputy we are interested in

                        In a parallel reality ( or rather, in the imagination of Twitter users on Friday), Lord Justice Leveson and Robert Jay QC have been cross-examining a list of musical icons using the lyrics of their songs

                              The "lol" messages from David Cameron to RB was said to make the former look silly, but this particular abbreviation can mean BOTH "lots of love" and "laugh out loud" (which is bad grammar, so DC would be unlikely to use it).

                              Why I am I sticking up for David Cameron? I must have strayed into an alternative universe.

                                You are evidently inclined to support the Murdoch multinational media empire - I assume you don't work for it;
                                I am inclined to support the Guardian's investigative journalism;

                                We have accepted different sets of persuasions - but on the balance of the evidence, it seems that I am being told, or having to believe, fewer lies, in order to maintain my beliefs.
