it is hard to see how the tabloid press will survive this .... and gives even more hope that the legal proceedings will be truly shocking and awesome!
That said, I suspect the press witnesses are unikely to be able to redress the balance fully..."...the isle is full of noises,

a timely lawyer's point Caliban; alas i think they are as guilty as sin so i do not await a verdict but the process of unmasking and stripping away of pretence, lies and hypocrisy ... this might just be an Inquiry that does what it says on the tin!According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.

I caught a little bit of this morning's statement by a journalist (forget his name) and how, basically, they just made stories up. Very damning and damaging to the profession, must remember it's only a corrupt few doing it for the money.

Mr McMullan could do with restricting himself to answering the questions he's being asked, rather than rambling off in a self-incriminating tangent.
I wonder if he's forgotten he's speaking under oath.
he's landed Brooks & Coulson in it, whether he realises or not.Last edited by mercia; 29-11-11, 21:26.

Just having a quick peek now, he seems a particularly obnoxious (pauses to think of correct word without getting into trouble) person

Oh, yes, you are correct. He is the most (and possibly also very dull and stupid) obnoxious tosser so far of journalists interviewed in the Leveson Enquiry. It all does seem a bit Boys Own to him (as to him being a rent boy, well ..... a bit of rough is OK, but there is rough and no thank you) Oh, and he keeps on digging ....... Does he know what he's saying? Who is is lawyer representing him? He must be hanging head in hands.
