There once was a Dean of St. Pauls,
Who didn't like campers at all.
At the sight of some tents,
    He became quite incensed,
And buggered off once and for all.

Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.

    Mark Twain.

Hmm - rhyme scheme could do with abit of improvement - but I like your use of the term "incensed" in the context, even though there's almost certainly more of that stuff used in the Cathedral adjoining the location of your avatar than in St. Pee's...

There once was a Dean of St. Paul's
Who, to campers in front of its walls,
      Barked that capitalism
      Is no worse than schism
Then resigned from this last of his calls.

(metre at last line could do with a little tidying up, but I've no time for that right now)...

Anyway, changing the subject (though perhaps not from capitalism):

There once was a PM from Greece.
The EU he did frequently fleece.
      Whose Acropolis now
Is no more a cash cow,
So will Sarkozy wrench back each piece?

      ...or, perhaps better...

      To Greek PM George Papandreou
Said Sarkozy "we'll no longer pay you!
      Your proposed referenda
      Might threaten the end o'
EU as we know it! What say you?"

"But then maybe this is for another thread" (Paul's Epistle to the Athenians, Chapter 11, Verse than previously thought)

        Oh that's good...rhymes worthy of W.S. Gilbert!
