No, we don't! My thumbs are curved. Does that mean I am super-intelligent? <vain hope emoticon>

god preserve us from the effects of super intelligent !!

The abuse of the skills of the super intelligent by those in power with no morals must be one of the great failings of modern life.
High intellect.........a seriously over rated ability, along with things like playing football, playing the beethoven sonatas unbelievably fast, share dealing.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

My thumbs can rotate unto my wrists. Blimey! Well, I am ambidextrous (or do I mean amphibious), me toes look a bit funny as well!

Caliban, if you too have curved thumbs, well I guess Dickens had a word for it!

Known as a hitch-hiker's thumb in anatomical circles, Anna. Going my way?

Oh dear, Am - I'm none the wiser (or should that be Nun the Wiser? http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3081/...ae7646d418.jpg) as well; that one obviously passed me by. I do remember reading something once about the length of one's middle finger, though.

It means you are artistic and gullible when it comes to believing the size of the extremities mean anything

Is the one at the back, far right really Freddie Mercury, Flossie?

Well after years of research I am willing to assert that:

Big hands mean .... big gloves

Big feet mean ... big sox

And a big nose means .... you'll be very disappointed if you attach any importance to it

Have you ever noticed that aliens in sci-fi movies usually have only three fingers and no thumb at all? As the dalek said at the foot of the stairs " That's buggered up conquering the universe! "

I'm not sure where this discussion is going, but for what its worth, my middle fingers are both quite small, and my thumbs are not curvy, but my gentleman's sausage is ENORMOUS.
